I want to share my personal experience and provide guidance on which arbitrage strategies are best suited for different deposit sizes.
This will make it easier to understand where to start and how to develop further.
Pros:
Listings occur almost every day
Often feature high spreads
Scalable
Cons:
Deposit/withdrawal limits and trading restrictions exist
Pros:
Income is directly proportional to the time you dedicate to the strategy
(the more time at the computer, the more trades and profit)
Cons:
Liquidity isn't always sufficient for the required coins
Pros:
Good spreads on well-known coins
Minimal time per trade: receive notification → check spread history/funding → enter → set notification for convergence
Cons:
Percentages aren't always high (depends on market conditions)
Pros:
If you find a coin with a constant spread, it can "feed" you for years
DEXs are less regulated, so discrepancies (spreads) last longer
Cons:
Hard to find a coin where spreads are consistently present
👉 Summary:
If you combine all 4 strategies, you can achieve an excellent monthly %.
If I were starting from scratch, I would first focus on Futures + Futures and Listings, and then move on to the others.
At this stage, you can already divide your deposit between strategies.
Allocation example:
3,000$ — Listing strategy
7,000$ — Careful entry into trades based on funding or futures arbitrage
With such deposits, it makes sense to switch to more passive strategies with lower risks and predictable returns.
This is an excellent strategy for large capital:
Passive
Predictable income
Possible to make 5%+ per month on six-figure deposits
